We just wanted to thank all of our stores for making this FALL ‘08 season our best yet. We had an overwhelming response to the new line the Magic/Pool Trade Shows last week, in Vegas. Some of the stuff on the women’s side has already started hitting such amazing stores as Karmaloop [www.karmaloop.com] for women’s. If you get a chance stop by Karmaloop……their huge fans and supporters of the family and we’re honored to give them first shot at the release of the women’s line, before it actually hits stores. We also wanted to announce an “EXCLUSIVE” with trend setting giants, PLANET FUNK for 3 men’s designs and 3 women’s designs. We collaborated with them this season to bring you some of our more “unique” pieces. As some of you know, Planet Funk has led the way in this fashion scene for years. We had a great opportunity to partner with their buyers to bring you these pieces…….........so if you have a Planet Funk in your area, you should check out the pieces. We also wanted to apologize for the long over due re-launch of our own online store. We’ve been holding off until we could do it right. That
should be happening in the next month. It’s will have a ton of “best seller/exclusives” along with some of the new stuff hitting stores too. Now you don’t have to buy it online and wait weeks to get it. There’s a few “exclusives” over their too.
In MUSIC news My Ruin just had their huge CD release in Los Angeles last week with a giant UK tour next month. We’re big fans of of theirs……..man an amazing band. We’re honored to call them family. If you haven’t checked them out or picked up their latest CD, please do so. Briertone just finished the final touched on their next album, as we get more info we’ll be sure to pass it on. No release date yet……....
In ARTIST news, we were honored this season to work with 4 amazing artist: Derrick Castle, Dave Madrano, Ryan Keightly and Kelly Honig. They brought to the table some of the more unique pieces you’ll see displayed. As most of you know we’ve always desired to bring the gifting in people out that we feel deserve the notice. These 4 artist’s are ones that we have had the honor to work with…….more to come including “artist’s profiles”, etc.
This marks a new beginning for Something Sacred. We’re rebuilding our walls, grounded in our past and holding tight to our future and our desire to impact peoples life with art/music. Our history goes deep and sometimes on this journey you misplace your past and the reasons you do things……........our reason is to touch lives, your life. Thank you to all that feel connected with our family: bands, artists, writers, families, mothers, fathers, children, thinkers, philosophers, theologians, visionaries, dreamers and servants.
